We understand that living with grief after suicide loss can feel incredibly lonely and isolating.

Our suicide bereavement support groups are designed to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can find the compassion, understanding, and connection you need.

That’s why we are pleased to announce the launch of our newest support group in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

As Lisa, our HUGG Blanchardstown volunteer, shares, “HUGG support groups are filled with compassion, understanding, and connection — the very things I needed most in the early days of my grief.”

Why Join a HUGG Support Group?

  • Feel Less Alone: Connect with others who understand this kind of loss. In our groups, there is no need to filter your feelings or explain your experience.
  • Find Support in Your Grief: Being with people who have walked a similar path can make the weight of your grief a little easier to carry.
  • Experience Shared Hope: Meet people who are further along in their journey and discover that it is possible to find hope and build a life around your grief.

Our groups are led by trained volunteers who have their own lived experience of suicide loss. They are there to listen, hold space, and guide the conversation with empathy and kindness.
