The Challenge
- What: An exhilarating abseil down the towering heights of Thomond Park.
- Where: Thomond Park, Limerick.
- When: Friday, 12th September 2025 at 12:00 PM.
- Facilitated By: Expert professionals from Nevsail Watersports will guide the abseil.
- Safety First: All necessary equipment is provided. A comprehensive safety briefing also happens at the event. No formal training or prior experience is required; simply bring your courage.
Your Impact: 100% of Funds Go to HUGG
Your participation directly fuels HUGG’s mission. This helps us provide life-saving support after suicide loss.
- Booking Deposit: Pay a €85 deposit.
- Fundraising Target: Minimum of €300.
Participation Guide: Get Ready to Descend
Taking part is simpler than you think. We will be there to support you every step of the way.
- Eligibility: Participants must be over 18 years old. They should weigh no more than 120kg.
- Support on the Day: HUGG staff will be present. They will cheer you on and assist throughout the event.
- HUGG Team Spirit: Receive a complimentary HUGG branded t-shirt. You can wear it during the event, if you wish, and show your support.
- Capture the Moment: Professional photographs will be taken on the day. These will capture your incredible achievement.
- Family & Friends Welcome: Encourage your loved ones to come and watch.
