The HUGG vision is that anyone bereaved by suicide can find hope and healing. HUGG is unique in that it provides information and support principally through the provision of local and online peer support groups, that are led by volunteers with lived experience of suicide, for the suicide bereaved.
This fundraising role is an exciting new opportunity for a professional to build awareness and raise income in support of HUGG’s work.
Ideal for a motivated self-starter, the role will focus on corporate fundraising as well as building support and awareness of HUGG nationally. Working with the CEO and Board, this role is required to support the growth of fundraising in HUGG. The person will be required:
- To assist in the development a fundraising strategy.
- To take responsibility for activating the fundraising strategy, once approved
- To nurture, develop and manage key fundraising relationships with existing supporters.
- To maximise income from Community and Corporate fundraising streams.
- To develop existing community and corporate relationships.
- To develop online fundraising opportunities
- To assist in the organisation of community and corporate fundraising events as required.
- To promote awareness about the work of HUGG.
Salary: €30,000 – 3 days per week, working remotely.
