HUGG is committed to its mission of providing hope and healing for anyone bereaved by suicide and has developed an ambitious strategic plan to guide HUGG in extending it services nationally.
The plan includes 12 strategic objectives for 2021 – 2023, which it further extended throughout 2024. These 12 objectives are organised under three core themes: capacity development, service development and advocacy, and quality improvement.
Overall, the strategy outlines a three-year plan for continuing to strengthen the governance, policies, strategies, and research that guide the work of HUGG and on extending HUGG services nationwide to meet the demand for suicide bereavement support in Ireland.
