About the Workshop
HUGG’s Say Their Name Suicide Loss Memorial Quilt Creative Workshop offers people bereaved by suicide an opportunity to come together in a safe and supportive space to remember and honour someone they have lost.
During the workshop, participants are invited to create a personalised fabric square in memory of their loved one. Each square becomes part of HUGG’s Say Their Name Suicide Loss Memorial Quilt, a collective memorial celebrating the lives and memories of those who have died by suicide.
You do not need any previous sewing or creative experience to take part. All materials are provided, along with guidance and support throughout the workshop.
The workshop provides a gentle and creative way to remember your loved one, share memories and connect with others who understand the experience of suicide bereavement.

About the Say Their Name Memorial Quilt
The Say Their Name Suicide Loss Memorial Quilt brings together individual fabric squares created by people who have been bereaved by suicide. Each square is unique and created in memory of someone who has died, helping to ensure that their life, their story and their name are remembered.
Through the quilt and our creative workshops, HUGG aims to provide a meaningful way for people to honour those they have lost while connecting with others in the suicide bereavement community.
