Are you a passionate, driven, and experienced fundraiser looking for a role where your work truly makes a difference? HUGG, Ireland’s national suicide bereavement charity, is seeking a motivated Community Fundraising Manager to lead a vital new chapter of growth for our services in Ireland.
The Role: Shape Our Future in Fundraising
We’re looking for a creative, results-driven professional to design, manage, and grow a diverse portfolio of fundraising events and activities. This role is a perfect fit if you thrive on building relationships and excel at supporter care. You will be instrumental in building sustainable income streams and growing a powerful network of volunteers and supporters who are deeply connected to HUGG’s compassionate mission.
Key responsibilities for the Community & Events Fundraising Manager include:
- Developing and delivering HUGG’s community and events fundraising programme.
- Planning, organising, and overseeing events from local initiatives to national campaigns.
- Recruiting, supporting, and nurturing dedicated volunteer fundraisers.
- Promoting fundraising opportunities through creative marketing and digital channels.
- Assisting with the development of AI and data analytics to support our digital transformation.
Why Join HUGG: Supporting Suicide Bereavement in Ireland
HUGG provides unique, essential, and suicide-specific support after a suicide. Services include a telephone support line, resources on grief after a suicide, support groups led by trained volunteers with lived experience of suicide loss, events and webinars and research and advocacy. As the only national organisation dedicated to suicide bereavement support, we are growing our capacity to help more people across Ireland.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of our community and events fundraising strategy.
Are You the Fundraising Leader We Need?
You’ll be a proactive, adaptable, and results-driven fundraiser with 1–3 years’ experience in fundraising, events coordination, or community engagement. If you are comfortable working independently in a small, supportive team and are motivated by the opportunity to help shape a new programme from the ground up, we want to hear from you.
We offer:
- A meaningful role with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those bereaved by suicide.
- Remote working with flexibility.
- A supportive, collaborative environment and opportunities for ongoing training.
- 23 days annual leave (pro rata)
This is a rare opportunity to use your skills to create a lasting, positive impact.
